BPTBL 10,000 Shots Made Club

Program Overview
This an off-season program to encourage boys and girls who are playing Brooklyn Park Traveling Basketball League to do more shooting. The BPTBL 10,000 Shots Made Club program will be offered to current traveling players in 4th - 8th grade and BAB in-house players.

The BPTBL 10,000 Shots Made Club is a great opportunity for you to improve your shooting skills over the summer.  Making 10,000 quality shots during the course of the summer (6 months) is all it takes to become a member of the BPTBL 10,000 Shots Made Club.

It has often been said that teams are made during the season and players are made over the summer.  By working on your game this summer and getting quality shots up on a daily basis you will improve your shooting and give yourself an advantage over your competition.

How to Participate
Players simply need to keep track of the number of made shots between April 1 and September 30th (6 months) during the off-season. Those players who cross the 10,000 shots “made” threshold receive recognition for their accomplishment.

When you break it down over six months, you only need to make between 50 and 75 shots a day to qualify.  That shouldn’t take more than 15-20 minutes a day.

Simply download and fill in the "Shot Club Tracking Sheet" and mail it in before October 7th 2011.  In order to qualify for an award, the following criteria must be met.

  • Print your name and year in school where indicated.
  • Shoot and record the number of shots made each day
  • Starting date is April 1st and the Ending date is September 30th.
  • Have your parent or guardian initial each month throughout the summer.
  • Record your total shots made at the end of the summer.
  • Have your parent or guardian sign and verify your completion.
  • Deadline for returning your completed shot club form is October 7th 2011.
